MA Dissertation Notes...or Perspective

Printed latex prototype from my MA collection All Stories Have Endings at Central Saint Martins, 2006.
It's been so interesting to look back on all of my work from last year (really, the last two years). One thing I realized right off the bat is how much more work I have to do with all of these ideas. I will say I am already continuing with at least one aspect of my research, and have tried to further a couple of other interests through collaborations. Rereading and preparing the material for the web has been an illuminating process in its own right. I did have to change a few things around, and I wonder if I'd had more time to really prepare (I sort of just winged it) whether there are more changes I might have made.
In case anyone is wondering about the specifics of my studies, my program at Central Saint Martins was the Textile Futures MA (the website is very new and shiny!) which is run by course director Carole Collet and I was taught by some very exciting fashion and textile designers like Rachel Wingfield, Jon Sawdon Smith, Suzanne Lee, Rachel Kelly (also an amluna!), and Shelley Fox.
Finally, one of the best results of putting my dissertation online is getting feedback and new ideas from new people. I've gotten some great emails, and I hope the connections continue to grow as I keep up my work. Thanks.
...psst! you can begin at the beginning here.
