cesare piccini

The internet is woefully short on information about the handbag designer Cesare Piccini. I was at the Manhattan Vintage Show on Friday and I saw a wonderful group of his cut velvet and leather handbags. Of course I can't find an image of my favorite (it had an ingenious opening mechanism using two round pieces of hardware on either side of the handle), but I did find some images online (for etsy and ebay mostly) to share. If you know anything about this Italian handbag designer I'd love to know  more!
