Split color way on silk voile

Kim had a residency at Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute in the fall of 2017, and she spent 3 months learning about the researchers work and methods. One of the prints that came out of this residency (in collaboration with her teaching at Maryland Institute College of Art) was this one of drawings from the campus, printed digitally but inspired by the split screen technique in screen printing.

We print with fiber reactive dyes that give a soft hand, good crock and wash fastness. Printed in North Carolina on 9mm fabric that’s 70% cotton 30% silk, repeat is 52”w x 36”h and the minimum order 3 yards. Swatches are about 8”x8”. Fabric is printed to order and takes 3 weeks to print. You can also get this print on our Linen Cotton, which is perfect for upholstery. Rush delivery is available, and custom colorways.
